A current account mortgage is a bit like an offset mortgage, but there are important differences in the way they work. Unlike the offset mortgage, where money is managed in different accounts, a current account mortgage tends to lump them all together, so that savings, borrowings, credit cards and other debts are all in one. This one-pot wonder has all the flexible features that you would expect. The only question is whether you can cope with always being in the red.
